Full HD 3d Camcorder

With the evolution of technology, it is not uncommon for a family to have a 3d monitor at home and a 3d blueray player to enjoy their 3d monitor in HD.  With the availability of this technology, the natural extension is for customers to make their own 3d content.  The Sony HDR-TD10 makes that possible.  At the price of only $1499.99 the camcorder allows you to shot 3d in full HD and view your 3d on a 3.5″ LCD without the need of 3d glasses.  You can also view the playback in full hd 2d 1920 x 1080.  All video taped using the camcorder can be viewed in both 2d and 3d so those that don’t have a 3d monitor or player will not be left in the cold.

Sharper Image HD920 Touch Video Camera

Best camera I have ever bough, love it. This high-definition camcorder captures stunning video at up to 1080p resolution (30 fps) and features motion-detection technology for automatic recording when your subject moves. Use the camcorder as a webcam to broadcast your footage on the Internet. User friendly as well.

LCD TV Sales

Best Buy reported that their profit for the quarter was down due to less profit on their sales of high definition tvs due to greater competition and lower profit margin.  More and more stores are offering lower end tvs at lower prices and driving customers away from Best Buy.

There is also a huge supply of LCDs on the market that have gone unsold.  This all points to more discounts to bargain hunters during the after Christmas sales this year.  Happy bargain hunting.

Protect Your Xbox

Keeping your Xbox360 safe and lastly long isn’t as hard as you think.  It just requires that you use some common sense.  The number one reason why you get the red lights on your Xbox counsel is because off overheating.  This will happen if you keep your counsel in an area that goes not get proper ventilation.  Avoid keeping the counsel on the floor on the carpet – this increases the counsel heating up.

Also keep your counsel dust free.  All this requires is cleaning the counsel regularly to avoid build up of dust and overheating.  Its that simple.

Blu-Ray Player Price Drop

Blu-ray player prices are poised to drop below the $99 mark com Black Friday.  There appears to be player going as low as $78 based on some ads that we have seen.

The downside is most of the models going for under the $99 mark often do a so so job at upscaling standard DVDs to 1080p.

There are some people who are speculating that some players will go as low as $49.  This is just a sign of things to come in the Blu-Ray player market.

HD DVRs Compared

Whether you view your HDTV programming from cable or satellite, your options for digital video recorders have never been better. DirecTV viewers can try out the HR20 model–it ditches the true TiVo user interface, but it’s capable of receiving DirecTV’s massive lineup of HD channels. Dish viewers can opt for the ViP722, which can offload recorded videos to compatible PocketDish devices and feed a second TV with live and recorded video simultaneously. Cable viewers can go for the TiVo HD, which adds a variety of impressive online and home networking features in addition to its TV recording functions. All of the products listed are multituner models, so you can record two programs simultaneously (the Dish Network ViP722 can actually handle three incoming streams). Each also includes antenna connections, so you can pull in all your local HD channels over the air.

Not shown are the variety of “free” HD DVRs you can get from your cable company. The cable alternatives will likely lack the slick interface and many of the extra features available on most of the TiVo and satellite models, but aside from a nominal monthly fee and possibly a one-time setup charge, they won’t cost you anything up front.
